Vi söker dig som är en kreativ fullstackutvecklare, med intresse för nyheter och som trivs med att jobba i ett tvärfunktionellt team.

Du kommer vara en viktig del av vårt team och arbeta nära andra utvecklare, UX-designers och produktchefer med att bygga Svenska Dagbladets sajt. Vi arbetar nära redaktionen med engagerade reportrar och illustratörer och det vi bygger tillsammans uppskattas av hundratusentals människor. Vi tror på att samarbeta och jobba hypotesdrivet med användaren i fokus och att snabbt få ut det vi bygger i produktion.

I rollen ingår att tillsammans med andra utvecklare, designers och redaktionen utveckla funktioner och format som engagerar läsarna. Det kan handla om att ta fram nya format för text- och ljudinnehåll, bygga AI-verktyg, utveckla funktioner för en mer personlig användarupplevelse eller arbeta med att öka tillgängligheten på våra digitala tjänster.

Du kommer arbeta både med vidareutveckling av befintliga system och nyutveckling. Vi har en modern infrastruktur med microservices som körs i AWS. Vanliga tekniker hos oss är Node.js, TypeScript, React, Svelte och Javascript. Ibland kommer du också att stöta på Redis och Postgres.

Vi tror att du:

Har ett par års erfarenhet av modern webbutveckling (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) och ett eller flera ramverk (t.ex. React, Svelte).

Har intresse för hela stacken och allt som behövs för att slutprodukten ska hålla högsta kvalitet.

Är bekant med Node.js och JavaScript build tools (t.ex. webpack, parcel, vite).

Who are we looking for?

About the role:
You will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of our print automation system/platform that supports the majority of our news brands. You and the team will be working on improving the editorial print workflow, where we help the newsrooms to be more efficient by automating and creating responsive web-page templates based on the newspapers brand specifications.

To thrive in this role you need to be comfortable in taking on different responsibilities: Your focus will be shared by partly managing the Print Automation Platform Aptoma, and partly developing web-based templates in mostly HTML and CSS in the same system.

What will you do in this role?
As an IT security engineer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of robust security measures. - We are building the cybersecurity team to support Schibsted Media and the journalists along their journey for free and independent press. Located in Norway and Sweden, the team is responsible for providing, supporting and maintaining cybersecurity tools for the company as well as providing safe products and services to our customers and journalists. We are part of the tech department, the cybersecurity team collaborates with other parts of the organisation, including journalists, editors, it-infrastructure, network, user devices, collaboration software, among others.

Key competencies:

- 2 - 8 years of experience in IT security roles (we're hiring for more than one role), with practical experience in implementing security controls and technologies.
- Proficiency in network and system administration, with hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms, with the ability to analyse and troubleshoot security-related issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

What will you do in this role?
Join our newly formed cybersecurity team as a Journalistic Security Specialist and contribute to protecting the integrity and confidentiality of journalistic content and communications. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security measures to safeguard sensitive information, sources, and digital assets against threats and attacks. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of our journalists, their sources, and the information they handle. Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Collaborate with journalists, editors, and other stakeholders to assess security risks and vulnerabilities in journalistic workflows and communications.
- Collaborate with the physical security team for assignments related to journalists operating in high risk environments.
- Design and implement security protocols and best practices to protect journalistic content, communications, and digital assets from unauthorised access, interception, or tampering.
- Collaborate with journalists to understand their missions ‘on the field’ and support them with adapted tools and equipment.

About the team:
We are building the cybersecurity team to support Schibsted Media and the journalists along their journey for free and independent press. Located in Norway and Sweden, the team is responsible for providing, supporting and maintaining cybersecurity tools for the company as well as providing safe products and services to our customers and journalists. We are part of the tech department, the cybersecurity team collaborates with other parts of the organisation, including journalists, editors, it-infrastructure, network, user devices, collaboration software, among others.

Key competencies:

- 1-4 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, around technical implementation of solutions and coding.
- Strong understanding of digital security risks and threats facing journalists, including surveillance, censorship, and cyberattacks with a focus on protecting journalistic content, communications, and sources.
- Experience with security tools and technologies used to protect digital communications and content, such as encrypted messaging apps, secure email platforms, and secure file storage solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced System Manager to join our Editorial Services team in the Shared Product & Platform (SPP) department. About the role:
You will be responsible for managing the entire life cycle of our print automation system/platform that supports the majority of our news brands. You and the team will be working on improving the editorial print workflow, where we help the newsrooms to be more efficient by automating and creating responsive web-page templates based on the newspapers brand specifications.

To thrive in this role you need to be comfortable in taking on different responsibilities: Your focus will be shared by partly managing the Print Automation Platform Aptoma, and partly developing web-based templates in mostly HTML and CSS in the same system.
