We are looking for a developer who is excited about scaling this product to the next level. About the team
We’re building out the Storylines team to ensure we can quickly get the product to market. The team currently consists of a Senior Product Manager, a Commercial Lead, and two developers, one focusing on the frontend and one on the backend. We are hiring a data engineer for our small but growing Data & Analytics team at SeenThis. One of our main goals for 2024 is to foster a data-driven culture and product development. That is why you, along with the team, will truly have the opportunity to impact how we use our data!

In this role, you will work closely with our Lead Data Engineer, Magnus Friberg, and a Data Analyst. Collaborating across various departments, you'll handle commercial, financial, and product data to create a holistic and inclusive data environment.

Our team's responsibility is to drive innovation by transforming raw data into actionable insights. You'll have the chance to collaborate with talented colleagues, earning invaluable experience. I support an inclusive work environment where independence and trust are prioritized. I believe in empowering our team members to take initiative and make impactful decisions. I look forward to seeing the unique perspectives and contributions you will bring to our team!"
- Magnus, Lead Data Engineer

The data
SeenThis generates a lot of interesting data that we want to utilize in a more sophisticated way to optimize our services. For example, we measure product and technology performance with data points such as video metrics, impressions, and data transfer efficiency, which, in the long run, could be used to help lower our customers’ carbon footprint.

Our monthly data preprocessing volume is far from ordinary. One of our key data warehouse tables alone streams over 50 billion data points each month, and this number is continually rising. Therefore, proficiency in crafting efficient statements would be highly advantageous. ;)

The tech
Most of our workflows are developed using Python and , with data orchestration handled through Docker and Kubernetes all within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Initially, your primary task will involve creating ETL workflows that integrate with Microsoft's Web API. Remember that you don't need to know all the tools from the start, and that personality and potential eat a heavy resume for breakfast!

About you
Since this role involves collaborating with different teams and departments, effective communication and the ability to understand and interpret the organization's needs are important. We believe that you have gained experience in a similar role, but most importantly, a curiosity and interest in data and a thirst for learning more!

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who wants to build kick-ass client-facing applications used to optimize advertising globally. If your friends thought you were overly excited when Facebook released GraphQL, you're probably the right person for this job. And while we're no fortune tellers, you likely also prefer Postgres over My (but if you don't, maybe you can change our minds).

Your work here will redefine our streaming technology as the new standard for delivering videos and images on the web - faster, using less data, and at a higher quality. If you're thinking about the 'middle out compression' joke from Silicon Valley, you're not the first. We're also big fans of Aviato and Erlich Bachman.

About the role
The Internet is consuming enormous amounts of energy. In fact, it is responsible for around 2% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions - on par with the entire aviation industry(!). Our streaming technology reduces the data transfer required to display content on the Internet, and thus also reduces the energy required. As Sustainability Lead, you will:

- Be responsible for execution of sustainability/ESG initiatives across all relevant parts of the organization, incl. marketing, branding, and positioning, product development, commercialization and partnerships
- Act as internal and external spokesperson for ESG and sustainability, building excitement and momentum by clarifying how streaming of online content reduces energy use and therefore CO2 impact. You will be participating as a keynote speaker at conferences/client events, and you will write white papers and articles on the subject
- Set and drive SeenThis own internal sustainability strategy and agenda

Who we are looking for
We believe you are a communicative, focused team player with a “can do” attitude and growth mindset. Ready to collaborate with the Management Team on strategic discussions, but not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done, to learn about our business and tech for real. We believe you are interested in ESG/sustainability and eager to learn more about the field. In addition, we think you are interested in business innovations that strike a balance between finding commercial opportunities and executing them in the most sustainable way.

- Experience from 3-5 years consulting or project management with proven track-record of delivering results, data-driven analysis and prioritization, hypothesis-driven approaches

Do you also aspire to work in a smaller, but growing company that values flexibility, fast-forwardness, and having fun along the ride?

Expect to grow and be challenged!

Picture from our last Hackathon - Game Jam Edition.

About SeenThis
Since 2017, SeenThis has been improving screen experiences for everyone, everywhere. With our groundbreaking adaptive streaming technology, we are transforming the distribution of digital content, to increase performance and reduce impact on the climate.

With billions of streams served for over 1,000 brands in over 40 countries, we push petabytes of data through our systems each month. If you’re wondering about requests per second, we’ll be happy to tell you more over coffee!

What we offer:

About the role
Your work here will help establish our streaming technology as the new standard for delivering videos and images on the web - to deliver content faster, using less data, and in higher quality. If you’re thinking about the “middle out compression” joke from Silicon Valley (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2575988/), you’re not the first. We’re also big fans of Aviato and Erlich Bachman.

We are currently hiring a developer to our applications team, to optimize and keep adding new functionalities to our CMS as well as our client-facing applications “Video Drop” & “Image Drop”. That means you will both work on our internal tools, where creative solutions and fast implementation is key, as well as on our external client-facing applications where design and usability are of high importance.

Our stack is JavaScript-based with Node.js, and we are using mostly Vue.js and sometimes React.js or Svelte.js for frontend. The communication between our frontends and backends is mostly through GraphQL and REST APIs.

Your work task will be varied and will most probably involve things from all across the stack. Although, right now we are in need of someone that has more experience in the Front End parts.

Do you have the ambition to take a Team Lead role in the future? Great! As the teams are growing, we are strongly encouraging those who want to support and share knowledge with more junior developers.

About you

Preferred

- Vue.js, GraphQL, Docker & Postgres

- A flexible hybrid work policy, but also a social HQ office, close to Södermalm in Stockholm

About the role
Our website is the face of our company, the first impression, it is the best way to show our amazing products to the world, and to explain more about the journey we are on. Therefore, we are now hiring a dedicated frontend developer who will drive initiatives to develop the design and functionality of our website.

In this role, you will be part of the tech team but will also work closely with the marketing manager Emilie (https://www.linkedin.com/in/emilie-ekengren-a3921874/), as well as our external partners. Our developer Karl (https://www.linkedin.com/in/karl-erelöf-5b78b21a8/?originalSubdomain=se), who previously worked with the website, will act as a mentor to get you up and running with things.

Our goal is to have a ‘less is more’ kind of website, with a clean design, and easy-to-use functionality. We want our product information to be accessible to our clients, and be able to convert website visitors into leads for our sales team.

This role is really interesting (very unbiased opinion, of course!) because you will be able to drive your own initiatives and turn something already good, into something really great.

Stack: React.js, with Gatsby, Contentful, GraphQL, and AWS Lambda.

Your main responsibility will be to:
- Implement new design and functionality on the website

- Increase website performance

- Drive projects to optimize our website & career site

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is good at developing epic websites with React. We believe you have at least one year of working experience - but, bear in mind, for this role culture fit, drive and ambition eat a heavy resume for breakfast!

It would be great if you have some experience in web performance, setting up tracking pixels, SEO, and other relevant stuff like growth and A/B testing. But do not worry if it's not your A-game, we have consultants that can help us with this as well.

The most important thing is that you are technically savvy with the ability to make things happen, that you make your own suggestions for improvement, and that you can collaborate successfully with stakeholders across the organization.

Words from a colleague
One of the key reasons I joined SeenThis was because of their modern tech stack. As a Junior Engineer I appreciate working with more experienced people that really take the time to explain and share their knowledge through discussions and code reviews. They are always just a Slack Message away! Karl (https://www.linkedin.com/in/karl-erelöf-5b78b21a8/), Frontend Developer

Do you also aspire to work in a smaller, but growing company that values flexibility, fast-forwardness, and having fun along the ride?

Then this is a great opportunity to join our talented team of engineers in Stockholm.

Our tech team is developing state-of-the-art streaming technology for video and images. As a Full Stack developer at SeenThis, you will work with both internal and client-facing tools and applications, to help our product reach its full potential.

Expect to grow and be challenged!

About SeenThis
Since 2017, SeenThis has been evolving screen experiences for everyone, everywhere. With our groundbreaking adaptive streaming technology, we are transforming the distribution of digital content, to increase performance and reduce impact on the climate.

With billions of streams served for more than 1,000 brands in over 40 countries, we push petabytes of data through our systems each month. If you’re wondering about requests per second, we’ll tell you over a Zoom coffee.

We offer you:
- The opportunity to grow with a Swedish tech company

- To enjoy hackathons, meetups, and great discussions by the coffee machine

- A role where you can learn from experienced colleagues but also grow from supporting junior developers

- To work with state-of-the-art technology

- Great compensation for great work

- A flexible workplace with a remote hybrid policy, and a social HQ office by the water, close to Södermalm in Stockholm

About you
Required

- You have a minimum of 5 years experience with JavaScript and Node.js.

Preferred

- Vue.js, GraphQL, Docker & Postgres

Bonus Points

- Experience in ad tech or streaming
- Leadership / coaching experience
- React.js or Svelte.js
- AWS & Serverless

We really appreciate developers that enjoy a passionate tech discussion by the coffee machine. Our team members are always curious to learn new things, and we are open to new perspectives and are especially interested in people who are updated on the latest trends and technologies!

Looking forward to your application.

- To work with state of the art technology

- Great compensation for great work

- A flexible workplace with a remote hybrid policy, and a social HQ office by the water, close to Södermalm in Stockholm

About the role
Your work here will help establish our streaming technology as the new standard for delivering videos and images on the web - to deliver content faster, using less data, and in higher quality. If you’re thinking about the “middle out compression” joke from Silicon Valley, you’re not the first. We’re also big fans of Aviato and Erlich Bachman.

We are currently hiring several developers to our applications team, to optimize and keep adding new functionalities to our CMS as well as our client-facing applications “Video Drop” & “Image Drop”. That means you will both work on our internal tools, where creative solutions and fast implementation is key, as well as on our external client-facing applications where design and usability are of high importance.

Our stack is JavaScript-based with Node.js, and we are using mostly Vue.js and (some) React.js for frontend. The communication between our frontends and backends is mostly through GraphQL and REST APIs.

Your work task will be varied and will most probably involve things from all across the stack. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop in several areas that you are interested in!

Do you have the ambition to take a Team Lead role in the future? Great! As the teams are growing, we are strongly encouraging those who want to help take responsibility for others.

About you

Required
You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with JavaScript and Node.js.

Preferred
Vue.js, GraphQL, Docker & Postgres

Bonus Points
AWS & Serverless

We really appreciate developers that enjoy a passionate tech discussion by the coffee machine. Our team members are always curious to learn new things, and we are open to new perspectives and are especially interested in people who are updated on the latest trends and technologies!

Looking forward to your application.

Frontend Developer - Website
React lover! Website enthusiast! Performance guru! Look our way.

Do you have more than one year of experience in web development and are excited to take the main responsibility for developing and optimizing SeenThis' website (https://seenthis.co/)?

Then this might be your next thing.

About SeenThis
Since 2017, SeenThis has been evolving screen experiences for everyone, everywhere. With our groundbreaking adaptive streaming technology, we are transforming the distribution of digital content, to increase performance and reduce the impact on the climate. (https://seenthis.co/insights/pressrelease/how-to-reduce-co2-emission)

With billions of streams served for more than 1,000 brands in over 40 countries, we push petabytes of data through our systems each month. If you’re wondering about requests per second, we’ll tell you over a Zoom coffee.

We offer you:
- The opportunity to grow with a Swedish tech company

- To take ownership of developing our website (https://seenthis.co/)

- To work with state of the art technology

- Great compensation for great work

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Specialist
Are you looking for a way to leverage your experience in Dynamics 365, to help accelerate the growth of a tech company that is already doubling in size each year? Great! We can’t wait to meet you.

We are looking for someone with the vision and project management skills needed to manage and further develop Microsoft Dynamics at SeenThis - in particular our CRM, Customer Engagement (CE), and our financial system, Business Central (BC). You will take on the role as system owner for one or both of these systems, which means you will act as our systems expert internally, as well as the project manager when we develop these systems further, together with our internal stakeholders and external consultants.

Part of your role will also be to set up data flows in Power BI - as well as creating some more advanced reports and dashboards of your own. So, having end-to-end experience from developing data models and building reports in Power BI, will definitely make you stand out in this recruitment process.

If you fit this description - apply now! Or, if you think our expectations are unrealistic, feel free to convince us why we should hire you instead (even if you do not fit the profile).

About the role
SeenThis implemented CE, BC and Power BI in 2021 - to tie together the data generated by our 1,000+ customers in 50 markets, and our 100+ employees working from 8 local hubs. We now have a foundation in place that allows us to keep scaling at the pace we want, and we need to ensure our systems infrastructure remains a catalyst for further growth - rather than holding us back, and causing us to lose speed. Next up is the migration of our email server and file sharing solutions to Microsoft - so we can start unlocking the full potential of Dynamics 365.

As our Dynamics 365 Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the development of all our Microsoft systems, and ensuring we utilize each tool in accordance with best practice all across the organization. Among other things, you will:

- Lead development projects for CE and BC - by understanding the needs of our sales people and finance team respectively, and setting a clear roadmap for our external development consultants within the budget you have requested

- Work tightly with our own developers, to establish an efficient data structure for Power BI - and, then, configure the data flows in Power BI Services, and build clear and user-friendly reports and dashboards

- Share best practices within the organization, for everything from Power BI and SharePoint to PowerPoint and Excel

- Handle the administration of all Microsoft accounts and licenses, until it becomes too time consuming (then, hire someone to help you and start building a team)

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance or Computer Science

- Minimum 5 years' working experience, and at least 3 within Dynamics 365

- Deep knowledge in Microsoft Power BI and DAX

- Driven, structured, social, and thirsty for knowledge

- Full professional proficiency in English

Preferred
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Finance or Computer Science

- Extensive knowledge of the full Dynamics 365 suite (in particular CRM, BC and SharePoint)

- Proven track record of successful delivery in similar roles, in similar companies

- Visionary, inspiring, and responsive to different personality types
