Would you like to contribute to how credit risk is managed at Nordea, the leading financial services group in the Nordics? We are now looking for professionals to several openings in Group Credit Risk Control (GCRC).
About GCRC
You will join a unit of highly experienced experts specialising on credit risk management. You will be part of a central Group function safeguarding sound management of credit risks in Nordea. GCRC activities cover the monitoring and control of credit decisions and customer ratings, analysis and reporting of credit risks, loan loss provisioning, setting credit risk appetite and internal credit risk management rules. GCRC also covers environmental, social and governance (ESG) related risks.
We are looking for professionals to join four different units in GCRC: Corporate sector credit controls, Credit portfolio analysis, Credit risk projections and provisioning, and Credit risk management framework. We are looking to hire several new colleagues into Risk Expert and Quantitative Risk Expert roles, also at Senior levels.

What you’ll be doing:
* You will be working specifically on one of the following tasks (in one of the GCRC units): Perform quality controls of corporate customer ratings based on quantitative risk models.
* Quality assurance of credit risk data and development of new reporting solutions.
* Build-up data sourcing capabilities for credit risk identification and assessment.
* Development of internal credit risk management processes and rules.
* Review and control loan loss expectations for Nordea’s risk outlook and quarterly reporting.

Who you are
Your background and skills include: 
* Master's degree in Economics, Accounting, Math, Engineering or similar.

We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
For Project Leader Role:
* Ambitious, self-driven & structured likely with 2-4 years of professional experience and looking to grow your network and skillset
* Previous experience in either programme management/PMO activities, management consulting or a similar toolbox including flair for executive reporting
* Knowledge about data and/or risk management is an advantage but not a must

For Risk Expert Role:
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
* Experience in banking, regulatory, or consulting roles is preferred
* Strong knowledge of IRB or other internal models (IMA, IMM) and related regulations

Common skills:
* Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex issues and bring logical problem-solving to the front, while not afraid to lift activities on your own

Uppdraget innebär ett nära samarbete med kunden vilket ställer stora krav på flexibilitet och samarbetsförmåga.
Uppdraget
Rollen innebär att arbeta med riskhantering i samband med övertagande av nya och väsentligt ombyggda anläggningar för spårtrafik, med fokus på trafiksäkerhet och infrastrukturförvaltning. Arbetet sker i nära samarbete med trafiksäkerhetsspecialister och syftar till att säkerställa att anläggningsövertagande sker i enlighet med lagkrav och gällande säkerhetsstyrning. Uppdraget inkluderar även inspektioner i spårområde, vilket kräver giltig X9-behörighet eller att sådan erhålls vid uppdragsstart. Rollen kan endast utföras av en person och får inte delas upp.
Arbetsuppgifter
Arbeta med riskhantering i samband med övertagande av ny och/eller väsentligen ombyggd anläggning för spårtrafik.
Säkerställa att anläggningsövertagande sker enligt lagkrav och gällande säkerhetsstyrning.
Samarbeta med trafiksäkerhetsspecialister inom teknikavdelningen.
Genomföra inspektioner och liknande uppgifter på plats i spårområde.

Krav (OBS, obligatoriska)
Flytande svenska i tal och skrift. 
Ingenjörsutbildning inom t ex riskhantering, spårteknik eller anläggning och/eller motsvarande yrkeserfarenhet, minst 5 år. Minst 7 års erfarenhet av arbete med riskhantering enligt CSM-RA, EN 50126 och 50129. Minst 5 års erfarenhet av riskhantering i tekniska projekt med omfattande myndighetskrav avseende t ex godkännande, laguppfyllnad och tillståndsgivning. Minst 3 års dokumenterad erfarenhet av att arbeta med säkerhetsstyrning för spårinnehavare enligt Lag (1990:1157) om säkerhet vid tunnelbanan och spårväg och Transportstyrelsens föreskrifter TSFS 2013:44 om säkerhetsstyrning vid tunnelbanan och spårväg.

Meriterande 
Minst 1 års erfarenhet av godkännandeprocesser inom spårtrafik och/eller ibruktagandebesiktningar inom spårtrafik.  Inneha minst spårbehörighet KAT X9. 

Personliga egenskaper Förmåga att uttrycka sig väl i tal och skrift på svenska samt formulera sig klart och koncist i rapporteringar. Strukturerad med god social förmåga och kommunikativ i alla sammanhang. God samarbetsförmåga med kollegor, ledning och externa parter. Förmåga att leda både sig själv och andra, visa handlingskraft och agera stödjande mot medarbetare. Förmåga att agera affärsmässigt och med integritet utifrån uppdragets krav. Main responsibilities in this role as Project Leader:
* Be a driver of creating & quality assuring Project Management Office reporting material to the most senior Nordea Bank stakeholders

* Serve as a subject matter expert on IRB credit risk models and regulatory models for counterparty and market risk (including VaR, EEPE, CVA, FRTB)
* Monitor EU and Nordic regulatory developments and assess their impact on Nordea’s models
* Coordinate supervisory interactions related to IRB models
* Support the development of projects and engage with internal stakeholders
* Maintain and enhance governance frameworks, including policies, controls, and documentation
* Advise on regulatory expectations and support group-level regulatory interpretation
* Depending on your experience, you may also advise on regulatory interpretation, design governance frameworks, draft communications to regulators, and assess the materiality of model changes

Common for both roles: The role is based preferably in Denmark and/or Finland – and we expect that are you are already based close to any existing location with a main Nordea office
We are seeking an individual with the following qualifications:
For Project Leader Role:
* Ambitious, self-driven & structured likely with 2-4 years of professional experience and looking to grow your network and skillset
* Previous experience in either programme management/PMO activities, management consulting or a similar toolbox including flair for executive reporting
* Knowledge about data and/or risk management is an advantage but not a must

For Risk Expert Role:
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
* Experience in banking, regulatory, or consulting roles is preferred
* Strong knowledge of IRB or other internal models (IMA, IMM) and related regulations

Common skills:
* Analytical skills and ability to deal with complex issues and bring logical problem-solving to the front, while not afraid to lift activities on your own
* Strong ability to proactively interact with key stakeholders throughout the value chain
* Great communication, presentation and facilitation skill
* Written and spoken English on a superior level – as interaction is expected with external regulators and the seniormost levels of Nordea

What you’ll be doing
As a Quantitative Risk Analyst, the specific role may vary based on qualifications, but you could i.e. play a valuable role in Data analytics, optimizing data flows, product management or as a data governance specialist. Your role could also include coordinating data related activities and ensuring proper communication within the teams and across other Risk Models areas. 
Main responsibilities in this role:
* Root-cause analysis for data quality issues, where we meticulously investigate and identify the underlying reasons for any discrepancies in our data. This is closely followed by data reconciliation, ensuring that our data sets are consistent and accurate across different sources.
* Data extraction based on desired content where we pull out specific information needed for various analyses and reports.
* We focus on optimizing data flows and algorithms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our data processes.

* Refining business requirements and conducting user acceptance testing. This ensures that the developed solutions meet the specified needs and expectations of our stakeholders.
* Developing analytical tools enabling better data analysis and decision-making.

* Product management, ensuring that our data-related products are aligned with business objectives and user needs
* Executing the Data Governance Recipe, where we adhere to the best practices and policies to manage our data assets effectively.
* Preparing reports and other documentation for senior management and external reporting is also an integral part of our role, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.

* Take an active role in the validation of existing, new and changed credit risk models, including  IRB (PD/LGD/EAD), IFRS9 and credit risk stress testing models.

* Advise and guide model developers and other stakeholders in managing model risks.
