About the Role
You'll build the core agent infrastructure that powers Sana's mission to bring superintelligence to work. This is a greenfield opportunity to define how AI agents plan, reason, and execute across enterprise environments—building systems that reliably handle real-world complexity at scale. You'll work at the intersection of agent architecture, context-, tool- and prompt engineering, and production infrastructure.
In this role, you will
Architect multi-step planning, orchestration, and tool routing for agents
Implement code generation agents and sandboxed code execution
Engineer memory, state, and context packing/grounding strategies
Balance latency, quality, and cost controls for agent execution
Develop safe fallbacks, graceful degradation and robust error handling
Collaborate with platform and search teams to deliver reusable agent infrastructure
Establish safety guarantees and measurable quality improvements
About You
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of software engineering experience building production backend or platform systems.
3+ years of experience in TypeScript, with a strong track record of writing reliable, maintainable services.
3+ years of experience with distributed systems, APIs, asynchronous workflows, and service-oriented architecture.
3+ years of experience designing systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
Other Qualifications:
Experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications in production.
Experience building agent platforms or AI infrastructure.
Deep understanding of the low-level details of the OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic LLM APIs, including tool calling, system prompt caching, etc.
Familiarity with LLM application patterns, including tool calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), memory and context management, multi-step orchestration, and human-in-the-loop systems.
Experience building and running machine learning systems in production, including compiling training and test datasets, building training pipelines, evaluating models, and detecting and handling drift (neural networks, Gaussian models, Thompson sampling, etc.).
Experience designing evaluation frameworks for LLM or agent quality and safety, including hands-on use of platforms such as Langfuse or LangSmith.
Familiarity with vector databases, prompt and context engineering, and experimentation tooling.
Experience working with sandbox environments such as Modal, and designing strict access control models to keep user data safe and encrypted at all times.
Experience running services in Kubernetes-based environments on GCP or equivalent cloud platforms.
Comfort working with Postgres and Redis in high-throughput, low-latency service contexts.
Contributions to open source TypeScript projects.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, make strong technical tradeoffs, and drive projects from concept to production.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across engineering, product, and AI research teams.

The Music team is the engine behind Epidemic Sound's music catalogue. We own the tools, pipelines, and platform that get music out to the right places in the right formats - and make sure artists get paid accurately along the way. We're one of the most data-intensive teams at Epidemic, and we are building the infrastructure that helps us invest smarter in the right music for our users.
This is a high-ownership role in a small, autonomous team that works closely with our music colleagues and moves fast. You will plan, build, and lead across a platform that sits at the heart of what Epidemic does, with real influence over technical direction and future projects.


Your key responsibilities include
Own and evolve the full data lifecycle across ingestion, processing, enrichment, and distribution, using dbt models to make our music catalogue accessible and usable across internal and external destinations.


Own features end-to-end: from technical design through deployment and iteration in production
Take responsibility for the quality, accessibility, and use of the team's data, keeping what we own trustworthy and well-documented
Structure complex problems into clean, maintainable components with strong instincts for API, event, and database design
Actively use AI agents in design, implementation, and testing, viewing them as collaborators and critically evaluating their output before shipping
Set technical direction and standards for your area, influencing how others build
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing
Collaborate with music teams and other stakeholders to translate domain needs into platform capabilities



Requirements
A well-rounded foundation in both software engineering and data engineering, moving comfortably between the two


Deep software engineering fundamentals: system design, APIs, testing, and CI/CD
Experience building and operating data platforms in a cloud environment
Agentic development mindset: you use AI agents actively in your own work, knowing where they add leverage and where human judgment is non-negotiable
A track record of leading technically in a team, owning outcomes and influencing how others build
Clear, direct communication across disciplines - you work well with music teams, product managers, and commercial stakeholders without relying on translation layers



It would also be music to our ears if you have
Experience with Go and/or Next.js - our primary stack, though we are happy to bring you up to speed


A background working with music or sound in some capacity, giving you a head start on understanding the team's scope

About the assignment:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a complex migration of leasing products from an existing platform to a new technology platform. The role requires a strong combination of project management, business analysis, stakeholder management, and technical understanding to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions and successfully delivered. The successful candidate will act as the primary link between business stakeholders and external development teams, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, implemented, tested, and delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex leasing platform migration project. • Define, manage, and execute the project plan, including scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. • Facilitate workshops and maintain close collaboration with internal business stakeholders to capture, analyze, validate, and document business requirements. • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements suitable for technical implementation. • Act as the primary interface between business users and external software development teams. • Ensure effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate solution design discussions and support architectural decision-making together with technical experts. • Manage project governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings, and decision logs. • Identify project risks, mitigation strategies, and escalation paths. • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and production readiness activities. • Support data migration planning, system integration activities, and cutover planning. • Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and stakeholder satisfaction. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience managing complex IT implementation or migration projects. • Demonstrated experience leading platform migration or digital transformation initiatives. • Experience working within leasing, financial services, banking, or similar highly regulated industries is highly desirable. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). • Experience working with external software vendors and distributed development teams. • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with differing priorities. • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Technical Understanding The ideal candidate is not expected to be a software developer but should possess sufficient technical knowledge to: • Understand system integrations and API-based architectures. • Participate in technical discussions and challenge proposed solutions where appropriate. • Understand data migration principles and common migration risks. • Interpret technical documentation and solution designs. • Bridge communication between business and technical teams.

Profil
Du har följande kompetenser och/eller erfarenheter: • Civilingenjörsutbildning eller motsvarande kunskaper och kompetens. • Goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska, både muntligt och skriftligt.
