Senior Fullstack Developer – Build the Future of Mobility with Aimo IT

Fullstack-utvecklare
Läs mer Feb 3
By continuing to think innovatively and always putting people’s needs first, we believe we can make a real difference. As the leading mobility partner in the Nordic region, we are constantly developing new solutions that make everyday life simpler and more sustainable. We are Aimo.
About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer who wants real ownership across both frontend and backend — from user experience and interface design to APIs, data models, and infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll build and evolve customer-facing applications used daily across the Nordic region, as well as the backend services and internal tools that power Aimo’s operations. You’ll work closely with product and design to turn real user needs into intuitive, high-quality digital experiences — and ensure they are supported by robust, scalable systems.
You’re joining at a pivotal moment: Aimo is transitioning from a complex, tightly coupled environment to a modular, scalable, and sustainable architecture. The decisions you make will directly shape how we build both user experiences and platforms for years to come.
This role is grounded in self-leadership. We believe senior fullstack developers should have the space to think, decide, build, and take full end-to-end responsibility — and at Aimo, you truly have that space.
About You
You’re a senior Fullstack Developer who brings depth, ownership, and engineering maturity to your work. You thrive in environments where autonomy is expected and supported, and where collaboration with developers, designers, and product owners is natural.
You like solving complex technical problems, designing clean systems, and improving long-term architecture. You care deeply about maintainable, high-quality code — and you enjoy seeing the real impact your work has on users and business outcomes.
You have strong fullstack experience, including:

Frontend

React with TypeScript/JavaScript

Building maintainable UI architectures and reusable components

Experience working closely with designers and product owners

Focus on usability, performance, and accessibility

Backend

Java-based services and APIs (REST / GraphQL)

Experience with No databases (e.g. MongoDB)

Designing scalable, maintainable backend architectures

Platform

Cloud-based systems (AWS)

Understanding of how frontend and backend choices impact reliability and scalability

And you:

Enjoy simplifying complex systems

Think in terms of architecture, not just features

Communicate clearly and collaborate naturally

Take responsibility and ownership without needing to be asked

Why You’ll Want to Join Us
Real self-leadership — freedom to make decisions and drive your work

Meaningful architectural influence — help shape a modular, scalable future

Complex engineering challenges with tangible business impact

A transparent, values-driven culture

Collaboration over teams — developers, designers, and product owners working as one

Competitive salary and solid benefits
