The role:
As a Product Designer at MAJORITY you’ll join our Product team on their mission to build and deliver the premiere banking and multi-service solutions for migrants and internationals living in the United States. You’ll work alongside Product Managers, Developers, and fellow Product Designers, taking ownership of the design process from discovery to delivery; finding simple and beautiful solutions to complex challenges. You’ll also contribute to the evolution of our Design System to ensure high levels of quality and consistency across MAJORITY's products.

What you’ll be doing:
Experience in end-to-end product design processes on digital products from discovery to implementation working with multi-disciplinary teams
Partnering with Product Managers and Developers to define and solve customer and business problems
Conceptualize and transform complex challenges into design solutions that are as beautiful as they are functional
Collaborate with Product Designers and our Design System squad on maintaining and evolving our existing libraries, components and more
Contribute to shaping direction and priorities within your feature team, championing user-centricity, design excellence, and good design practices

About you:
You have 5+ years of experience working in-house on consumer facing digital products
You have a solid portfolio of product design work that demonstrates a high bar for visual design combined with an understanding of complex end to end product experiences
You are comfortable with questioning the status quo, asking for feedback, and collaborating with a diverse team
You take ownership of the design process and consider technical implications to make informed decisions
You believe that inclusive and accessible design can go hand in hand with creating beautiful user experiences

MAJORITY is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join its Engineering team. This is a full time, in-person position based in Stockholm, Sweden.

About MAJORITY Backend
We’re a diverse bunch of skilled software developers with a passion for technical excellence. We strive to create innovative solutions to the many varied business problems that we are presented with. We work hard, deliver fast, are continually learning and have fun along the way. With a team of 12 backend developers we have built a system of nearly 60 microservices with a million lines of C# code. Our business is growing fast and therefore so is our need to continually scale the system to meet the growing number or users and transactions.

We have a modern technical platform. Recently upgraded to .Net8.
We have a microservice architecture, fully in C#. built on a solid foundation of base functionality like observability, DI, messaging etc.
We have a high pace of development, shipping major new features frequently.
We have leadership who understands and prioritizes technical work.
We work in a domain (fintech) where correctness matters. We have very high uptime and correctness requirements. No payments should fail, and no cent can be lost!


Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain microservices built with .NET Core
Write clean code with proper test coverage to support CI/CD workflows
Contribute in design and architecture decisions within the team and across the organization
Develop scalable, performant, and reliable systems
Participate as a team member in agile deliveries
Identify bugs and bottlenecks and resolve issues efficiently


Requirements
You have 10+ years of experience working with modern backend development practices, with focus on .NET Frameworks and C#.
You have good experience in cloud environments
You have good experience working with databases
You are familiar with working with microservices & event driven architecture
You have an understanding and interest in building and maintaining microservices running in Kubernetes
You have experience with build tools and services such as AzureDevops
