Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is a critical part of our platform strategy. As a member of the SRE team, you will focus on providing technical expertise and support to our engineering teams to enable them to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently. This includes helping teams with technical continuous effort, overcoming major technical hurdles, performance improvements, implementing system monitoring and building software with high availability.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:


Help domain teams build software with high availability, resilience, and scalability to meet the needs of the business and customers.
Implement system monitoring to track system health, performance, and availability.
Drive performance improvements by analysing system metrics.
Contribute to the development of standards, guidelines, and best practices for software development, deployment, and operations.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices and share knowledge and insights with the broader engineering organisation.





OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Strong technical background with expertise in software development, including proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and influence technical decision-making.
Good understanding of systems architecture.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Datadog and Grafana.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
? Be responsible for driving the development of our payment solution.
? Work in an innovative environment with challenging solutions with high-frequency transactions.
? Creating the greatest user experience for our customers depositing money to play and accessing their winnings as smoothly as possible.
? Build functionality to increase the rate of successful bank transactions.



OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
? Common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA
? Relational databases such as My.
? Building scalable and fault-tolerant systems and are familiar with microservice architectures.

NICE TO HAVES:
? Experience with Kotlin, Akka, Hazelcast, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Consul, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes or BigQuery.
? Experience with payment systems (in particular - card processing).

What you will do
We are seeking experienced backend Java engineers for our platform domain to start as soon as possible, don’t worry if you can’t, we’ll always wait for the right person for our teams!
You will work with your team & the Product development domain to focus on developing innovative and high performing features with cloud technologies and high throughput transactional systems that will give our players the greatest gaming experience, helping us reach our bigger organisation passion of becoming “King of Casino” and keep us at the forefront of mobile gaming.

Who are we looking for
We're looking for a real software craftsman that has significant experience in Java and backend system development and thrives in an atmosphere where learning new technologies is key.
We’d love to hear from you if:
You have experience with common Java frameworks such as Spring and JPA
You’re no stranger to working with relational databases such as My.
You have experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant systems and are familiar with microservice architectures.
Bonus points if you have used (but by no means necessary) Kotlin, Akka, Hazelcast, Elasticsearch, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Consul, Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
