As an Artist in the Toca Life World Content team, you’ll create quirky characters and colorful environments, in line with a fun and playful art style that is constantly evolving.

What you’ll be doing
You'll work closely with the rest of the art team to maintain and improve the visual quality in Toca Life World, and deliver high quality assets for one of the most popular kids’ apps in the world. You’ll take an active part in the ideation and concept work, producing art assets including playsets, characters, seasonal events and gifts.

You’ll join the team for the morning daily meetings, discuss priorities and dependencies, sync with other artists and with the developers who will implement your art into the game.

You’ll attend creative workshops, sketch sessions and collaborate closely with other teams like the Home Design, the Features or the Marketing team.
Is this you?
You have a few year’s experience of digital art production in a game studio, ad agency or similar. You’re proficient in Adobe Illustrator and have a strong portfolio fitting the Toca Life World art style.

You bring your individuality and personal style at work in the art assets creation, while adapting to the Toca Boca Creative Principles like diversity and unisex, quirkiness, attention to details and kids perspective.

You can follow creative direction and will happily share your work explaining your creative process. You are open to feedback and the perspective of others, and love collaborating with different people in your team. You also deliver your own feedback in a constructive and friendly manner.

Due to the versatile and cross-disciplinary nature of a Concept Artist, they need to work closely with other crafts and have great communication and collaboration skills. A Concept Artist at Embark needs previous experience within game development to understand the limitations of real time entertainment, great understanding of art, architecture, anatomy, nature, composition, lighting, colour theory, materials and composition.

Examples of responsibilities
- Digital painting and concept discovery

- Concepts and blueprints for asset creation and production

- Compile reference images to align and guide the team to success

- Create moodboards and collect reference material to reach the direction presented by directors

Would you like to be part of building a global IT function where we together find the way forward? Toca Boca and its sister studios are growing and the IT function needs to keep up.

As our Senior System Administrator your focus will be on Toca Boca and its sister studios Noid and Nørdlight, located here in Stockholm and sharing the same studio space. As a growing company with a focus on high-quality apps, we are implementing processes and ways of working across multiple studios. You will collaborate with our owners Spin Master to identify synergies, and ways of effectively working together with the various systems we use across the enterprise. You will be working in a beautiful studio surrounded by colleagues who are deeply passionate about their work.

What you’ll be doing

As the administrator and chief architect of our systems, tools, and services, your role involves a balance of troubleshooting technical issues and spearheading enhancements in our digital infrastructure. You'll play a key role in refining system configurations, optimizing our tech stack, and improving workflows. Your expertise in system management, coupled with a proficiency in scripting, will be crucial for automating certain processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

Collaboration is key in your role as you work closely with teams to make informed decisions on tools and services, manage licenses and access, and automate tasks for greater efficiency. By streamlining processes and providing the right resources, you empower teams to focus on valuable work, fostering a productive and collaborative environment.

At the heart of your responsibilities lies the commitment to delivering an outstanding IT experience. You will swiftly address technical challenges, take ownership of projects to enhance systems and tools, and ensure that employees and consultants within all three studios enjoy a seamless digital workplace. As you will be working in a small team, you will have an end-to-end responsibility. Your dedication to continuous improvement and excellence will be instrumental in creating a positive and efficient IT environment.
Is this you?

You are an experienced professional who has held a similar position in the past. You have 3-5 years of experience in providing 2nd line support. You have admin level experience with either Google Workspace or Office 365. Security expertise is important, including implementing single sign-on, two-factor authentication, or other security measures. Experience in managing fleets of both Mac and Windows computers and working with AWS or GCP is preferred. You’re proficient in scripting, and have an understanding of LAN/WAN, routing, wireless networks, and Windows networking.
