Natural Cycles is an international working environment filled with smart and ambitious colleagues working in Stockholm, Geneva, New York and remotely. Our mission is to pioneer women’s health with research and passion - by empowering everyone with a menstrual cycle with the knowledge they need to be in charge of their health.

We’re looking for a design leader who can drive the development of our website and purchasing funnels. You’ll help us define how our users discover and connect with Natural Cycles, you’ll manage a small team of designers, and you’ll build beautiful design experiences to help grow the Natural Cycles user base.

By joining our team, you’ll get the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects with a team of top product designers, product managers, and engineers in a fast-paced, rapidly growing, hybrid (technology/operations) environment. You’ll work on big, strategic projects as well as short, iterative A/B tests where you’ll get to see the impact of your work right away.

Please note that we are hiring for this role in Europe as we’re looking for someone who can travel to our Stockholm office regularly.

What you will be doing

You’ll manage a small team of designers and play a leadership role in the web team. You’ll have a substantial impact on the product strategy and development of our website.

You’ll focus primarily on our website and user acquisition journeys, keeping a balance between business metrics and our users.

You’ll work on projects from start to finish - sketching, mapping out user journeys, wireframing, and creating polished visual mockups. Your main focus will be creating designs for A/B tests and landing pages on our website and acquisition funnels. Once test results are in, you’ll iterate and build on your work.

You’ll be working in a tight-knit agile team with a product manager, another designer, and software engineers on a day-to-day basis. You’ll often work with stakeholders from across the organization, from marketing to R&D.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the team’s product roadmap, ideating ways to improve our acquisition flows on your own and with the team.

You’ll also be a part of the Product Design team, collaborating with designers from across product teams at Natural Cycles. You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and brand, collaborate on strategic projects, and help build team processes

What skills and experience we think you have

You have experience managing people and are invested in helping others grow and develop in their careers.

You’re passionate about designing for the web and have experience with growth design, conversion rate optimisation, and quantitative testing (ex. A/B tests). You actively look at and propose design changes that bring growth opportunities, while being conscious of the business value the design work is bringing.

You’ve worked with both quantitative and qualitative data, and know how to use both types of insights to inform your design work. You’re comfortable in a usability testing interview and can read the results of an A/B test.

You are skilled across both UX and UI design. You have a good understanding of UX design methodologies and can design beautiful interfaces, applying your knowledge of color, typography, layout, and other design principles.

You’re able to articulate and explain your ideas, listen to and give feedback, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

You also have experience with agile methodology and have worked with developers and product managers in the past.

You have 6+ years of experience.
