What does it mean to be a QA Engineer at Star Stable Entertainment?



Being a QA at Star Stable Entertainment means that you will be an integral part of a development team and work closely with many different development disciplines.

As the embedded QA, you will directly impact the product quality by participating in different project stages, from pre-production all the way to live-ops.



As a QA Engineer at Star Stable you will :

- Have experience in game testing

- Have experience in creating, executing and following up on the test cases, test plan

- Have scripting knowledge.

- Have experience in using bug tracking and test management tools.

- Have knowledge of test automation.

- Have knowledge of basic



We are looking for someone who:

- Have a critical mindset and like to give suggestions for improvement.

- Should be driven and proactively find out help and advocating for quality

- Have a good analytical skills, need to have an eye for detail

- Should focus on the team and check the quality following inside the team

What will you do?
The core objective of this position is to enhance customer satisfaction by optimizing their system usage. You will play a vital role in resolving document management issues, significantly impacting the customers day to day life. Internally, as a key member of the Lasernet Team at Columbus, you will serve as a valuable sounding board for colleagues. You will contribute to the overall growth of the Lasernet group and how we work with Document Handling and how we develop our customers within this field. Led by dedicated colleagues, the small yet committed Lasernet team actively participates in ERFA groups for ongoing development. Despite its size, the team provides an opportunity to influence both internal processes and external interactions.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

- Continuing to develop/educate our customers in their Document Management

- Educating customers in their Lasernet solution

Engaging in conversations with the customer regarding releases

- Supporting in projects where Lasernet solutions are to be built

Vi söker just nu efter en infradrift manager som vill arbeta hos en internationell kund. Kunden har en global IS-organisation som hanterar alla IT-system över hela världen. Infra- och driftteamet ansvarar för alla infrastrukturtjänster (arbetsplats, servicedesk, hosting, molnlösningar, nätverk och telekommunikation, säkerhet, enhetlig kommunikation, O365, kataloger, ...).
De förvaltar hela livscykeln för infrastrukturen, inklusive produktion, incidenter, förändringar, projekt, transformationer och strategi och levererar toppmoderna tjänster till sina användare. Infrastruktur- och driftsledaren för Sverige & Finland (SE/FI) ansvarar för att leverera kvalitetstjänster inom infrastruktur på kontoren i Sverige, Stockholm och Helsingfors för alla affärsområden med direktrapporterande IT-supporttekniker.

Arbetsuppgifter:

- Fungera som enda kontaktpunkt för alla infrastrukturfrågor i Sverige.

- Hantera hela IT-miljön, inklusive drift av helpdesk, inventering och avtal.

- Ansvara för 1st line supporttjänsten, inklusive tillgänglighet för affärsappar, rapporterade
klientproblem från kundtjänst, problem för anställda, felsökning för problemen.

- Följa upp SLA: er för infrastruktur och IT-drift samt viktiga övervakningslarm.

- Ansvara för att hantera vissa uppgifter inom affärsdrift (DataFix, klientbeställning eller

- Leverera förstklassiga infrastrukturtjänster till alla avdelningar i linje med Global Technologys

- Förstå de lokala affärsenheternas strategi, vägkartor och krav.

- Översätta dessa affärsenheters krav till infrastrukturönskemål, projekt och transformationer.

Det förekommer tjänsteresor till Finland.

Du har förmodligen:

Minst 5 års yrkeserfarenhet av infrastruktur och helpdesk-drift, inklusive operativa roller i internationella eller mångkulturella miljöer.

Minst 3 års erfarenhet av 1st line support

Erfarenhet av både intern support för anställda (hantering av incidenter, operativsystem och nätverksrelaterade problem) och extern support för klientfrågor

Erfarenhet av Windows-servrar, O365, Call Center, VMware krävs. Kunskaper inom , databashantering, Azure Cloud och skriptning är meriterande

About the position

The position



As a game designer, your focus is to deliver world-class gameplay experience to our players, including new features, system and content. By seeing the world through our users’ eyes, you are bringing content for a one-of-a-kind game to a unique audience. Since we release weekly, you get almost instant feedback on the players' reaction on the releases. You will collaborate with different parts of your team and craft and coordinate work ensuring cohesive design and implementation.

The position

As our QA Engineer Lead, you will lead and drive the team towards developing a quality first mindset, own and drive better quality practices, and together with the team continuously deliver on agreed quality standards. The role is split between doing hands-on work with testing and test automation, and as a leader with full personnel responsibilities including 1:1s, salary setting and coaching the team. You will work closely with all QA teams cross function, where your focus will be on our game foundation, core game development, tools and the game engine area.

Responsibilities

Leading the testing activities and coaching the team on how they can reach the next level in quality.

Defining & Owning Test Strategy including processes, tools, test levels etc within the team

Writing scripts for automated tests

Testing the old and new content/feature/functionality.

Performing different types of tests as required e.g Functional, non-functional (Performance, load, stress).

Collaborating and communicating with multiple teams.

Reporting and tracking defects to closure.

Recording, monitoring test results and KPIs.

Lead and coach individuals towards targets through 1-on-1 meetings.

We are now on the lookout for a Customer Happiness & Player Safety Manager to lead the Customer Happiness team and guarantee a secure and delightful playing experience for our players. Responsibilities:

Game Design Lead

Star Stable Online is a 12-year-old MMORPG with players ranging across a variety of ages. The Game Design Lead we are looking for is someone who wants to take our gaming experience to an all-new high. You will be investigating how we can make more replayable content by looking into how we can build out new gameplay systems but also build upon existing ones. The Game Design Lead at Star Stable drives the design work within the studio, helping the project teams turn the creative vision into tangible design that gets into the hands of our players. Since you’ll be working on a live game, you will have a great opportunity to employ player feedback to enhance the gaming experience continuously. Moreover, you will lead the design area, coaching the team to bring the director’s vision to life. As the team manager, you’ll also be responsible for 1:1s, recruitments and welcoming new members to the team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the directors on the vision and the goals for design. Coaching the project teams to turn those visions into tangible designs.

Provide design direction to the team, this includes delegating work, coaching, mentoring and planning together with the producer and other stakeholders.

Spend around 50% of your position doing hands-on design work. Conceptualise, prototype, test and implement gameplay systems.

Drive discovery phases and other design processes with support from the associate producers.

Drive collaboration with other disciplines such as art, production and engineering, ensuring alignment and cohesion for the overall game experience.

Contribute to improvements in our design pipelines and strategy.

Drive documentation of guidelines, workflows and best practices.

Stay up to date with relevant game information such as KPIs, player surveys, new releases and updates.

Conduct 1:1 meetings with the team, recruit, onboard and offboard team members.

Several years of experience as a game designer with a solid understanding of game loops, systems and their impact on the player experience.
