About the job
It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while perusing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. For our Cellular Applications Team we are looking for a curious engineer with experience in building serverless cloud applications using TypeScript and Node.js. This team functions as an internal customer and is responsible for creating the first cellular IoT applications that run on and with our own hardware. As a Senior Cloud Engineer you are responsible for developing the solution these applications connect to on the cloud side.
Key responsibilities
Develop cloud solutions that a typical customer product can connect to (for example a parcel tracker, an energy meter, or a smart home gateway)
Contribute your knowledge to the open-source nRF Asset Tracker, which enables our customers to set up a real world IoT solution using the respective cloud provider and adapt the example firmware and software quickly for their specific use case
Work together with our firmware engineers to building up the internal knowledge about the respective cloud vendors’ idiomatic way to provide connectivity for IoT devices and contribute it to the open-source nRF Connect SDK for our embedded devices
Build small prototypes or demos (for example a LWM2M Gateway for AWS IoT), which explore how to optimize cloud services for ultra-low power IoT devices

Qualifications and skills
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
5+ years professional working experience as a cloud engineer (or equivalent)
Demonstratable proficiency in building cloud solutions, especially public-facing serverless microservices solutions using JavaScript
Experience with TypeScript and Node.js, CI/CD, BDD/TDD, Linux, Git, GitHub
The ability to navigate in a global matrix organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Kompetens och utbildning

Du har relevant akademisk bakgrund som t ex systemvetare, ingenjör med IT- inriktning eller liknande samt uttalat bra kunskap och erfarenhet inom IT. Det viktigt att du har en god förståelse för den nationella infrastrukturen, gärna för de ingående infrastrukturkomponenterna för Ineras tjänster samt gärna någon av Ineras tjänster. Du behöver ha minst fem års erfarenhet från liknande arbetsområde.

Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av testarbete samt att leda och koordinera felsökningsarbete. Du behöver även ha förmåga att se frågor ur flera perspektiv men alltid med kundens behov i fokus. Om du dessutom har erfarenhet och intresse för processarbete är det ett extra stort plus.

Du ska ha lätt för att samarbeta med många olika funktioner internt, kundfokus, trivas i drivande roller och vara en god kommunikatör. Du behöver uppskatta problemlösning och arbeta strukturerat. Main responsibilities

About the job
It’s an exciting time to join Nordic Semiconductor as we continue our rapid growth while perusing high ambitions with dedicated colleagues worldwide. The Wi-Fi IC Group is newly established and is looking to recruit a talented and experienced Project manager. As a project manager you will be responsible of Nordic Semiconductor´s first generation of ultra-low power Wi-Fi device.
Key responsibilities
Ownership of the full product, from specification to mass production
Work closely with design teams and other stakeholders to ensure project success
Control of process ensuring quality
Reporting project progress to management team

Qualifications and skills
Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant engineering or science discipline
Proactive and motivated, with the ability to execute on projects
A constructive and organised approach to problem solving
Preferably, previous experience of design processes and product flow to mass production
Preferably project management experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Personal skills
We are looking for a team player with strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently. You are curious to learn, eager try out new things and continuously improve. We value honesty, openness and a desire to achieve the highest quality.
