C++ Software Developer for Machine Control systems

Key responsibilities
In the role as Software Developer, you will be working with C++ development in robotics-like scenarios and you will:
· Work with object-oriented programming and software architecture
· Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle from design and specification to testing and documentation
· Provide input and recommendations into technical decision making and development direction
We are looking for a talented software professional with strong personal drive
We imagine you have a degree in engineering, possibly robotics, or computer science or equivalent experience. Fluent in English is a prerequisite and knowledge in Swedish is an advantage.
You are skilled in the following:
· Modern C++, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
· QT and C++ STL
Knowledge in any of the following will be considered an advantage: Linux and Yocto build systems, DevOps, robotics, kinematics, surveying, Python, cloud services, embedded systems, and linear algebra.

Work closely with the Product delivery team (Product Manager, System architect, Product Owner(s)) as well as developers, technical resources, and other stakeholders
Manage and optimize the development flow of our Machine Control Cloud SW using various tools, such as the Program and Solution Kanbans, boards, trackers
Run Product Increment planning and rolling forecast
Organize, manage and facilitate the development process and ceremonies; daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, grooming and planning meetings, etc.
Help the Product Owner/ Product Manager keep the product backlog in good shape and groomed/ready for sprint planning
Act as a subject matter expert and coach to the team in Agile methodology, tool usage, decision making process following the proper guidelines
Resolves team impediments with the other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the product-centric delivery approach in the organization
Encourage collaboration between teams and Solution Architects/Engineering
Coach leaders, teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
Live the retrospection process and drive improvements


This is you
A relevant University degree or equivalent, with a major in Software Engineering, Technology, Business or a relevant field
At least 4 years of experience in planning product increments and delivery of software in the role of Release Train Engineer or Advanced Scrum Master
Certification as "Advanced Scrum Master", "Release train Engineer" or comparable
Successfully led large-scale software projects (with multiple tracks of work and teams in multiple locations) from concept to delivery
Experience with managing senior stakeholders and coaching people on Lean-Agile Principles
Fluent in English (written and spoken), strong skills in leading teams, problem-solving, influencing, teamwork, initiative and communication
Experience in collaborating with teams on a complex program across multiple areas, evaluating tradeoffs and providing options and recommendations to senior executives
Negotiation skills, long term and strategic thinking without losing the actual needs, teamwork and fast integration
