Science is at the heart of everything we do, and our team of Sustainability Engineers constantly develops, expands and updates our scientific foundation in our methodology, taxonomy and thousands of calculation inputs. This area touches almost all teams at Normative and significantly impacts our customers’ Net-Zero journey.

Normative is now looking for a Technical Product Manager for Carbon Calculations who will lead the work on our core asset - Normative’s methodology. You will drive the work to further define, create and continuously improve our scientific foundation for our methodology - from our product vision and strategy to the implementation of specific calculation logic and inputs. You will work closely with our Sustainability Engineers and different functions throughout the company to ensure our customers and partners always benefit from the latest, first-in-class scientific product.

What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions:

You will lead the definition, articulation, alignment and execution of Normative’s core assets - our methodology and carbon calculations

Together with your team, you will define how our product calculates corporate carbon footprints - from the scientific methodology and taxonomy to the selection and management of emission factors, conversion factors and other calculation inputs

You will lead the team through discovery and delivery processes, always ensuring that we are working on the most impactful things with a healthy mix between short term value and steps towards our long term goals

You will collaborate closely with different functions such as Science and Climate Research, Climate Strategy Advisors, Product Marketing, Product Management, Design and Engineering to ensure we are set up for success, building for the future and get valuable learnings and insights around customer needs

Experience we’re seeking:

You have a deep understanding of the sustainability space and can easily navigate topics around carbon accounting, the GHG protocol, LCAs and other relevant areas

You can confidently and credibly represent Normative’s Scientific Integrity

Location
Normative operates on a hybrid remote model with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London. For this role you can be based either in Stockholm or work remotely within Sweden.

We are now looking for an Office Coordinator!

This role mainly supports employees, external visitors at our Stockholm office, and our remote Swedish workforce.

Apart from our office coordination, you will help with coordinating digital and onsite events. As a part of the People Team, you will report to our Director of People. The perfect candidate for this role enjoys solving problems of all sorts, is a structured project leader at heart, and loves making work life a little bit more fun for others.

What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions:

Reducing emissions begins with understanding where they come from. Our Data Services team ensures that Normative’s emissions accounting engine is supplied with the most accurate, comprehensive data available so it can generate the most accurate and comprehensive insights - and lead to the highest-impact emissions reductions.



In the role as Sustainability Analyst, you will work together with a dedicated team to calculate carbon emissions using our software and internal tools. You will be an integral part of making sure our clients are able to get a complete picture of their carbon footprint and enabling them to make better choices to reduce their impact!

What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions:

- Calculate carbon emissions following the GHG protocol

- Work closely with our Climate Strategy team to align on data input and carbon calculations for our clients

- Review, log and structure incoming data from our clients

- Verify the quality of results before our net-zero experts present emission reports

- Upload data onto Normative

- Support our organization with knowledge within sustainability and GHG accounting

- Improve our internal processes to achieve higher efficiency and accuracy

- Provide feedback to our product team on new product features and possible developments.



Experience we’re seeking:

- We believe that you have an educational degree within sustainability, where you preferably got knowledge within GHG protocol and GHG accounting

- We believe that you are used to communicating in English, both verbally and in writing

- We believe that you are used to use Excel and/or Google Sheets

- If you have experience from either customer facing roles or programming/coding it will be considered beneficial for your future development at Normative

The Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role you will have a lot of impact on the server-side of our products and overall on the technical processes and approaches. Our goal is to further accelerate our work to make the accounting process as smooth as possible for our customers. We use mostly Typescript and some Python on the server; Angular, React and Svelte on the client, and tools like SonarCloud, Sentury and GitHub actions for CI/CD.
