We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Connectivity area. Connectivity teams create software agents integrating data from 3400+ financial institutions. They ultimately focus on continual service improvements and enable real-time transactions and payment processing all around Europe and provide seamless authentication flows.
You’ll be responsible for developing integrations with financial institutes helping consumers to aggregate their financial data from all of their banks and credit cards. It means integrating with both documented and undocumented APIs, developing smart and effective tools to help us automate integrations, monitoring and alerting.

What you will do

Work with high load systems with high uptime requirements.


Work with Tink’s technologies which is mainly Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, , Cassandra, Datadog and much more.


Build components that integrate with banks’ APIs and fetch consumers’ data.

To join us on our journey, we are looking for a Junior Accountant in the beginning of their career to join the growing finance function at Tink where you will play an important role in our accounting team. As a security engineer in the security operations team you will continuously work with our ability to identify and react to vulnerabilities and security incidents. You can identify critical resources in our cloud native environment and ensure that we are properly monitoring it with logs and alerts set up in our SIEM. Engineering Manager - Front-End Team

We are looking for an Engineering Manager for one of our Front-End Product teams.

Your team

You will be part of Customer Experience, a product area responsible for building developer and end user-facing products at Tink. In order to move fast, we organize ourselves into smaller teams so we can collaborate and ship features faster, typically Full stack teams.

Tink’s platform is built on Java and Golang, we’re in AWS and we use Kubernetes for container orchestration, Apache Cassandra for large datasets and Apache Kafka for service integration, among other things. We think logging, monitoring, metrics and alerting is very important, for which we use ELK, Grafana and the Prometheus and Apache ecosystems respectively. Vault for secret management, and Terraform for our infrastructure as code.

About the role:

Data is central to Tink's decision-making process, and efficiently delivering data is critical to enable data-driven decision-making in all of our operations. What you'll do with us

The mission of the SDK Web team at Tink is to make the developer journey as easy and seamless as possible for our partners. As well as creating a best in class user experience for the end users of the product. The core product for this team is our front-end SDK for end-user authentication and payment initiation. This product is called Tink Link (https://demo.tink.com/). Tink Link is a product that is used by hundreds of clients and reaching around half a million unique users every month. Using Tink Link provides you with access to over 2,500 banks and gives your users a friction-free authentication process, all with a single line of code.

Tink Link is a React app developed in TypeScript. The Web SDK team is responsible for the Tink Link service, both in frontend and also on the backend side. Tinks' backend service is built in Java and Go. Basic knowledge in backend development is a great plus, but not a requirement for this role.

Your future team

The SDK Web team is a small team with frontend engineers, one product designer, one product manager and one engineering manager. The team is working closely together in weekly sprints. Collaboration is an important part of this team. Every week the engineers are doing mob programming sessions together to solve problems and share knowledge in the team. The Staff Engineer role

As a Staff Engineer at Tink, you will be part of making sure Tink and the people here can develop themself and the industry. We see that you will contribute to the vision of the overall technical direction of our current and future products. By defining standards and new ways of how product features and services are built throughout all of Tink, you will have a big impact on our daily work and our journey ahead.

By being an expert within your domain (Backend, Frontend, SRE, Data Engineer, or Data Scientist) you will contribute by making critical product architecture and implementation decisions to a variety of teams, all over Tink.

You will work on our most complex technical challenges. Either by designing new solutions or by upping the game in some of our existing systems.

Some days you will be deep in writing code, other days you will lead the architectural design work of new components. Some days you will work by yourself, but more often in close collaboration with other engineers or product managers.

Some initiatives our Staff Engineers work with

- Leading the implementation of our new developer platform with the ambition of making shipping code simpler.
- Designing and implementing our data processing infrastructure handling many billions of data points each month.
- With other senior engineers, lead the work on identifying bottlenecks, removing unnecessary dependencies and create clearer boundaries between components for the Tink architecture.

What we look for:

We are looking for a Risk Control Officer who wants to help continue the development of our risk control function and the risk management framework at Tink. As a Risk Control Officer, you will work closely with colleagues in many different teams and countries. It is essential that you have an excellent business mindset and are able to provide practical and actionable guidance and advice in a user-friendly way, while always maintaining your integrity.

What you’ll do:

The focus area is to implement and develop Tink's risk management framework with a primary focus on operational risk, since Tink’s financial risk exposure is very limited at this point. The Risk Control team's responsibilities include:

- Provide subject matter expertise (support and guide) in question related to risk management
- Continuously improve and integrate the following operational risk processes within Tink:
- Risk Assessment & Internal Control
- Business Continuity Management
- NPA (New Product Approval) Process
- Incident Process


- Drive and develop Tink’s risk register system
- Plan and lead yearly risk assessment workshops for the different business areas
- Support and guide NPA risk assessment workshops
- Contribute with analysis and risk perspective during merger & acquisitions
- Educate and test Tink’s crisis management capabilities
- Analyse and identify trends and common drivers for Tink’s incidents
- Ensuring that applicable regulations regarding risk management are implemented within the governments documents and that adherence is measured and reported to management and the board
- Educate the organisation regarding our governing documents regarding risk management and how they should apply them.
- Conduct assurance reviews within the organisation to identify potential unknown risks


Who you are:

- Relevant academic degree or well respected Risk Certifications
- At least five years' experience of risk management work (financial/fintech sector is meriting) and primarily within the non-financial spectrum
- Experience of implementing risk management frameworks into the first line
- Fluent in speech and writing in English, Swedish is a plus

How you'll be part of changing an industry

Tink’s connectivity teams provide the foundation for Tink’s product offering, by building out and maintaining high performing connections to all the banks across Europe. Through Tink’s products (built on top of the connectivity) Tink’s customers can innovate and bring new, better financial services to end-users across Europe - empowering them to use their financial data to e.g. better manage their money, enjoy digital onboarding to new services, receive better offers and initiate payments in a smooth way. We are in the beginning of the Open Banking era and have just scratched the surface of the possibilities it brings. Tink is investing to become the global leader in this space - both through organic growth (e.g. 90 new employees joined in 2020 - this year another 200 will join) and through acquiring local leaders*. Tink is backed by strong investors and will continue to accelerate the growth pace in the coming years - hence, we seek great people that want to be part of that journey! Right now, we are looking for Associate Product Managers that will take responsibility for further growing our pan-European presence.

In 2020 Tink acquired Instantor, Eurobits and OpenWrk’s connectivity platform, in 2021 FinTecSystems (pending regulatory approval)

As an Associate Product Manager for Connectivity, you will:

- Be part of multidisciplinary team that is responsible for developing and maintaining connections to banks across Europe
- Be responsible for market research for your markets and become the expert of those (including e.g. gaining a deep understanding for the bank user flows in the market)
- Analyse end-user behaviour and preferences and work on streamlining user journeys (by any necessary means)
- Drill down in the data to analyse connection performance, and based on your findings enable your team to optimise conversion rates
- Work close with key customers in your markets and figure out what is needed to make them successful
- Work close with other Tink product teams to roll out new products in your markets
- Provide input to the team’s roadmap based on your detailed knowledge about the markets and your stakeholder dialogues
- Together with the Engineering manager, take part in and run the team's day-to-day activities, from retros to standups, groomings and plannings
- Make sure targets are met and roadmap is delivered according to plan
- Work side by side with your team members, other product teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient ways of working and alignment across the full Tink organisation
- Come up with ideas and drive projects to improve the way we work in Connectivity
- Be responsible for the ongoing dialogue with banks on PSD2 API issues and manage the PSD2 API evaluation and testing

Processing and enrichment of transactional data (harmonise descriptions, extract metadata, categorise and identify patterns) constitute core capabilities and end to end features, unlocking the full potential of open banking data. 2021 is going to be pivotal for Tink - all of the ingredients are there for this to be a remarkable year for us. As a result of continued hyper growth we are now looking to recruit Delivery Managers to our team.

Tink has raised over €250 million in venture capital and in the past 24 months we have grown from 150 to over 400 people. During 2020 we have made three strategic acquisitions which significantly strengthen our presence on the European market (Eurobits in Spain, OpenWrks Aggregation platform in the UK and Instantor in Sweden). A day in the life as a Delivery Manager at Tink

As a Delivery Manager, you will be leading new implementations and projects for our most important customers. The projects we run have the aim of unlocking new business value for our customers and the use cases are built on top of Tink’s product portfolio. Since you will be in a customer-facing role, you will also be able to impact Tink’s overall delivery roadmap together with our developers and product owners in our Stockholm office. They will rely on you to source insights from our customers into our organisation.

Your day-to-day activities will include meeting with large corporate banks, as well as fintech unicorns and startups, to help them understand how they can integrate the Tink platform into their organisation in order to drive innovation and create real business value.

You will also be working closely with Tink’s commercial team, that means the regional Account Managers and our Product Commercial Owners as well as Sales Engineers. This role will be reporting to the Head of Delivery.



Responsibilities

- You will be leading our customer implementation projects end to end and be the outspoken driver for these
- Day to day collaboration with external stakeholders. You will be responsible for educating large financial institutions, as well as fintech startups, on how Tink can create value for them.
- Work closely with the client and the various Tink teams to guarantee a high quality project delivery
- Understand what makes the customer successful. By understanding the use case of the client you guide them in the critical phase towards a successful implementation
- Impact Tink’s overall delivery roadmap together with our product owners at HQ in Stockholm and include local knowledge in the development process.
- Source insights from our customers into our organisation.


Requirements

- 4/5+ years work experience from consulting, and/or a hands on project management role in dynamic tech focused company
- M.Sc/B.Sc. in business, finance, engineering or another relevant field
- Experience from a technical role with technical understanding of APIs, SDKs
- Work experience from a position with significant B2B customer interaction, preferably with a customizable and evolving product which require deep understanding of the customer needs
- Project management experience from digital product development projects
- Native/fluency in English
