With an investment of €4.5 billion approved by our Board of Directors, Luleå is set to become our next site for fossil-free steel production. The new Luleå mill will boost a capacity of 2.5 million tons per year, featuring state-of-the-art facilities including electric arc furnaces, advanced secondary metallurgy, a direct strip rolling mill, and a cold rolling complex. This transformation will support the mobility segment with premium products, driving our mission towards a sustainable future.

Main responsibilities
Procurement Strategy Leadership: Define and oversee the deployment of procurement strategies and tactics, with a focus on market analysis, supply chain capacity, risk assessment, procurement packaging, contract models and the pursuit of cost optimization.
Supplier Engagement and Oversight: Initiate pre-qualification for suppliers and contractors, navigate RFx procedures, assess proposals, and sustain partnerships with suppliers.
Manage the contracting process, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies in collaboration with legal, finance, technical, project and contract management teams.
Lead negotiations and negotiation teams.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and Project Buyers to ensure deadlines and project schedules are met, contributing to procurement procedure updates and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, developing and delivering content to guide decision-making processes.



About You
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant ?eld (e.g., Construction, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management).
5+ years of experience in project procurement activities, particularly on large, multi-year investment projects.
Experience working with EPC/M type of contract
Proven capability in guiding teams, mediating agreements, and interactively engaging, with a background in handling supplier partnerships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
Fluent in English, orally and written

Om tjänsten
Vi söker en erfaren Enterprise Arkitekt som kommer att ansvara för Special Steels IT Enterprise Arkitektur (EA). Denna roll innefattar att utveckla och underhålla IT-Roadmap för Special Steels. Huvudansvaret inkluderar att förstå verksamhetens behov, prioritera projekt, säkerställa att de följer framtagen IT-Roadmap med arkitektoniska principer för att ge maximal avkastning på investeringen.

Stödja upphandlingar och förstudier av IT-lösningar samt prioriteringen av IT projekt/program inom Special Steels.
Ta fram Business Case för IT-investeringar.

Om dig
Du har mångårig erfarenhet av IT-strategi, arkitekturutveckling, projektledning och erfarenhet av EA arbete i större bolag.
Du kan förmedla strategier genom tydliga målbilder och du har goda kunskaper i presentationsteknik.
Du nyfiken, självgående och är van att leda arbetet samt gillar att förbättra arbetssätt och metoder i organisationen.

Om tjänsten
Rollen ingår i division Special Steels redovisningsavdelning vars främsta uppgift är att upprätta och konsolidera månads-, kvartals- och årsbokslut. Avdelningen ansvarar också för den interna kontrollen inom divisionen. Teamet ger support till divisionens ca 80 dotterbolag samt två ståltillverkande produktionssiter genom att erbjuda kvalificerad redovisningsexpertis och stöd inom IFRS, men även olika utbildningar beroende på dotterbolagens behov. I rollen förväntas du driva olika förbättringsprojekt i syfte att förbättra och effektivisera den finansiella rapporteringen samt den interna kontrollen inom divisionen. En viktig arbetsuppgift för denna roll är att tillsammans med rekryterande chef utveckla divisionens interna kontrollmiljö.
Dina huvudsakliga ansvarsområden
Upprätta och konsolidera divisionens finansiella rapporter
Driva och stötta inom kvalificerade redovisningsfrågor
Supportera och utbilda redovisningsansvariga controllers på våra produktionssiter och dotterbolag

Om dig
För att lyckas i uppdraget ser vi att du har kandidat- eller masterexamen som civilekonom och minst fyra års dokumenterad erfarenhet av externredovisning av större företag.
Vi ser gärna att du har erfarenhet kring utvärdering av intern kontroll. Har du tidigare arbetat med design och implementation av internal control är detta meriterande.
Du har erfarenhet av IFRS, K3 och Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
Du är service minded och har lätt för att samarbeta med andra.
Du har inga problem med att uttrycka dig i tal och skrift på engelska.

About the position
Your mission is to drive and implement the established roadmap for SSABs global procurement systems, with the purpose to ensure that our procurement operations have the optimal systems to perform their work. You will also lead and support prioritized system projects and act as system owner. The job also includes developing current processes and systems within SSAB’s procurement operations. The work will be done across SSAB operations, and you will be coaching and training the teams in procurement processes and systems. You will also manage relations with both internal and external stakeholders, such as our suppliers and system providers.
You will have a key role in SSAB Group Procurement & Sustainability and have a wide contact network within the company. You will report to the Director of the Group Procurement & Sustainability team.
The position is temporary until 30th of April 2025, but might be subject to be extended.
About You
You have several years of experience from procurement, working with system and process/business development. Preferably both as a purchaser and system developer or similar. Experience from managing system implementations is a merit.
As a person, you are a team player with integrity and great social skills, which together with your competence make you a great colleague to work with. Through your solid experience, you have an independent, method-driven and results-orientated way of working.
You will not have a team formally reporting to you. Nevertheless, strong leadership skills are needed in order to take SSAB’s procurement work to the next level. We are looking for someone who can act as a role model to create involvement and engagement, and your skills in communication will be important.
In addition to working strategically, you need to be a pragmatic doer who thrives in helping hands-on to get things done. Your analytical skills will be a key competence in succeeding in this position and you do not mind deep diving into numbers to get a full understanding.
You see the variation as one of the benefits of the role and you are used to working in an international environment with different kinds of stakeholders and travelling is not a hinder for you.
We expect you to have a Master's or Bachelor’s degree in economics or technology. You have very good written and spoken English skills and have professional skills in Excel and PowerPoint.

About the position
During the recent year, we have started to develop SSABs learning concept, putting in place a good foundation for a learning organization. We are now taking this to the next level, by building an overall framework and platform for competence development – securing development of the right competences and skills for SSABs transformation to fossil-fee steelmaking as well as other future competence needs. We are now strengthening our team with a Learning & Development professional who, together with representatives from all of our divisions, will be responsible for developing and implementing this journey.

Main responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of SSABs concept and overall framework for Learning & Development to enhance SSABs learning journey and learning culture, including:
Approach, framework and ways of working for learning structures, learning journeys and competence development activities for different employee groups, e.g.: job rotation programs and development roles.
Develop SSABs organization and way of working/collaboration within Learning & Development across our divisions.
Drive continued implementation and usage of our LMS and other digital solutions for learning, including improving LMS structure to create an attractive and accessible marketplace for learning
In collaboration with adequate stakeholders, develop a global framework around skills/core competencies as well as a process for regular evaluation of individual and organizational competence needs.
In cooperation with Learning SMEs and our organization of Learning Coordinators, drive development and implementation of global common learning and development concepts, e.g. leadership development and change management.
Follow-up on KPIs and targets for L&D and utilize for strategic decisions.

About You
Proficient in the Learning & Development area with proven experience and knowledge of effective learning methods, and hands-on development and implementation of learning and competence development journeys.
Insights and experience in Learning Technology and Learning Experience, including e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Experience in driving a learning culture.

About the position
We are responsible for development & support of Europe division in a broad perspective, starting with Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality but also Sustainability and Risk management is now included in our scope. We have already the responsibility for coordination of Internal control in the division which is about financial and compliance risk management. About the role

The role

You will work close together with HR, Compliance, Group C&B team, Payroll and other internal functions as well as external vendors. You will also support the C&B Specialist – Executive Compensation with analysis and data for Remuneration Committee work and follow ups.

•Drive and lead work with all Variable Pay programs and processes

The role
Shaping SSAB’s future strategy for raw material supply is dependent on a deep understanding of global macro trends, forecasts for key commodities used in SSAB’s production as well as analysis of various different supply scenarios. In this role, your main responsibilities will be:
• Monitoring of global macro trends
• Analysis of the effects of macro trends on relevant commodities (e.g. iron ore, ferrous scrap, electricity, biogas, bio carbon, etc.)
• Analysis of price forecasts for relevant commodities
• Monitoring of competitor and industry developments
• Developing and managing models for scenario analysis of various raw material strategies as well as their impact on SSAB’s business.

Your qualifications

The key tasks of the role are:

You will manage SSAB’s relationships with its financial stakeholders with a particular focus on sustainability as well as be responsible for managing SSAB's Annual Report and Sustainability reporting. Placement is Stockholm or surrounding regions.
Key aspects of the role are:
Develop and maintain SSAB’s relationships with its shareholders, analysts and investors, with a particular focus on sustainability
Manage defined aspects in sustainability communication in close cooperation with Corporate Communications, e g the IR and sustainability websites
Be responsible for SSAB's Annual Report process and sustainability reporting
Manage sustainability reporting requirements and trends such as the NFRD, GRI, TCFD and Taxonomy
Manage investor sustainability questionnaires, ratings and indices
Assisting in strategy development with a particular focus on sustainability

Your qualifications
Degree in finance, economics, political science, law or other relevant education
Understanding of equity market, financial figures, business, strategy and industrial companies
Deep understanding of sustainability and related reporting requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience from investor relations and communications in a public company or similar experience
Experience from managing Annual Report processes in other public companies
Ability to deliver independently and work under pressure yet paying attention to details
Good relationship-building, teamwork and co-ordination skills

Job description
The Production Related & Indirect category is divided into fifteen commodities and you will be responsible Commodity Manager/Strategic Purchaser for 1-3 commodities.
As a Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing commodity strategies centrally and/or locally according to the strategic procurement process. Therefore this role requires a person that can work and plan the job independently, and has good skills in analyzing data to be able to take good decisions in right directions. Since it is highly important to be able to establish and manage relations with internal costumers and other stakeholders in order to be able to manage and lead cross-functional teams, it will be important that you have good communication skills and strong leadership skills.
The role is much connected to work proactively in developing the commodities. Since you will work in high performing organization that is result-driven, you need to be motivated by these kind of result-targets and be able to independently plan your work, and to prioritize your tasks, with support from your manager and to also cope and handle a high workload.
The key tasks of the role are:
· Analyze, develop/improve the commodities together with the commodity teams
· Lead and develop cross-functional teamwork with operational purchasing, internal customers and other stakeholders
· Develop commodity strategies; lead and implement sourcing activities/initiatives, development projects and supplier relationship management (SRM). Create financially healthy agreements so that internal customer gets the right products or services in the right place at the right time, at optimal cost (TCO-perspective)
· Follow-up and report progress and outcome of projects/activities, and monitor supplier performance
Frequently traveling is a natural part of the role.
Your qualifications
· Master's or Bachelor’s degree in economics, technology, logistics, or law. Alternatively, you may have gained similar qualifications and experience in some other way within these competence areas.
· Experience of strategic procurement, leadership, marketing, project management, Lean and/or SRM is an advantage
· Excellent written and spoken English
· Good user knowledge in Microsoft Office (excel, word, Power point)
· Ariba, IFS knowledge is also considered an advantage

SSAB Special Steels is currently looking for a Senior Business Controller who can drive improvements and support the divisional management team. This is a new role within the Business Controlling team and you will be based at the headquarters in Stockholm.

About the position
As a Business Controller of Division Reporting you will have a main responsibility in preparing the divisional reporting packages and analyzing the divisional financial results together with the head of finance and other finance management team members.

You’ll also be part the process of developing the management reporting systems and processes in close co-operations with e.g. finance, business intelligence and IT organizations.
